[Rectangular Tarp] 4x3m An easy-to-use rectangular tarp.
- The basic shape is a gabled roof with two middle poles.
- Only the triangulation points at the corners are raised with poles and left hanging down at the back.
- It is easy to arrange it by setting up a pole diagonally.
[Silver coating]
The reverse side of the easy-to-handle polyester fabric is silver coated.
It reflects sunlight and provides excellent UV protection and heat insulation.
The fabric used is 210T, which is of the highest quality.
What are the important points in the layout?
Let the wind escape.
It is better not to set up a tarp in strong winds as this can be dangerous, and although there is no set layout as the wind direction changes, you should be mindful of the wind direction and choose a layout that allows the wind to escape.
By placing the windward side at the top of the tarp and the leeward side diagonally opposite, the wind will pass through the inside of the tarp and escape.
Orientation towards the sun <br>Tarps are commonly used to provide shade from the sun.
The sun moves from east to west.
Therefore, if it is hung facing east to west, it will be exposed to the western sun and will not provide any protection from the sun.
As it depends on the direction of the wind, it is difficult to say that "this direction is best", but the sun always moves from east to west, so you should keep that in mind when considering where to install it.
[Where to set up the tarp]
A flat, uneven surface is best.
- <Caution> Do not stretch the cable under a cliff (as it is vulnerable to falling objects from above).
- Do not pitch under a single tree (due to the risk of lightning).
- Observe the surrounding trees (are there any branches that are deteriorating and likely to fall off?)
- Avoid areas near rivers and sandbars (dangerous if the water level rises)
- Where you can see the ground (dangerous as snakes and poisonous insects may be lurking)

Trekking pole and backpack set
I think many people don't carry trekking poles when climbing relatively low mountains, but if you try them out, you'll see a difference. They are essential for those who have knee problems.
